WA road users stand up for safer roads
The 2011 Risky Roads campaign received close to 6000 nominations from motorists and other road users for the most dangerous roads and intersections in WA.
Following an independent assessment of the results, the RAC will work with the government and relevant road authorities to deliver safer roads for the WA community.
The assessment will focus on the most nominated roads, as well as lower profile roads that pose a threat to the local community, to ensure all nominations are considered.

It is estimated that each year more than 200 deaths and serious injuries could be prevented if the WA road network was improved, yet government funding for roads has been decreasing for the past two years.
To help curb the road toll, the RAC is giving WA road users the opportunity to stand up for safer roads by signing a petition calling on the State Government to increase its investment in road safety.
Add your name to the petition and tell the government to invest in safer roads for the WA community.
