Community education

RAC Community Education is committed to educating Western Australians on road and community safety topics to protect and enhance their lives. We invite you to participate in our free 2009 Community Education Program.

Our highly trained and experienced presenters offer expert advice to groups of twelve or more people, with free information sessions and interactive workshops. We offer a range of informative presentations that cover a wide variety of topics to met the needs and interests of different groups including students, parents, seniors and community clubs and associations.

Learn to drive

The Learn to drive program is an RAC initiative that provides parents, teachers, and learner drivers with easy to read, detailed advice on every step involved in learning to drive and getting a driver's licence.

Free2go

RAC offers the free2go program to 17, 18 and 19 year old drivers.

Free2go is a free three-year membership program that provides free personal Roadside Assistance for 17 year olds. Plus 18 and 19 year olds can join the second and third years of the program and still receive 50% off Standard Roadside Assistance.

The membership also includes a huge range of RAC partner discounts and benefits and free motoring advice.

FAMEFAME 2010

The FAME competition is an exciting opportunity for students in years 10, 11 and 12 to discover the quickest route to fame by designing a road safety billboard advertisement aimed at young drivers.

The 2010 FAME competition encourages young drivers to consider the factors that contribute to peer pressure and the effects it has on driving.

RAC Regional Road Safety Weeks are run throughout the year. For each Road Safety Week, we conduct a school program, seniors workshops, Keys for Life: Parent Workshop.
