While driver behaviour is one of the major factors in most crashes, the design of WA roads and roadsides can cause a significant number of preventable deaths and serious injuries each year.
The RAC believes just one preventable death is one too many - let alone the 200 our state averages annually. That’s why we’re lobbying to make the small changes that will make a big difference to the number of people killed and injured on our roads.
Road safety is concerned with reducing the number of deaths and injuries sustained on WA roads and roadsides each year.
The RAC uses research and community support to identify the safety improvements needed on WA's roads. For more information, visit safe roads.
