The Community Partnerships program offers funding to organisations that are committed to making a significant contribution and difference to the Western Australian community, and whose activities are closely aligned to the RAC's Mobility themes.
The RAC will provide up to $15,000 (exc GST) to assist the organisation to coordinate the project / initiative and up to $5,000 (exc GST) to assist in leveraging the initiative (ie. assistance in developing marketing materials etc).
Not-for-profit organisations, charities and community groups and services are invited to apply for a Community Partnership.
Criteria for applying:
- Support at least one of the Mobility themes
- Provide opportunities for RAC member engagement
- Provide opportunities for RAC employee engagement
- Provide opportunities for regional engagement
- Provide an exit strategy explaining how the initiative will be sustained beyond the RAC's involvement
- Must be a registered business
- Applications must be received at least three months prior to the commencement of the project/initiative
- Applicant cannot apply for an RAC Grass Roots Grant for the same initiative in the same round
What the RAC will not support?
- Requests from individuals such as those seeking support for academic studies, medical treatment, accommodation etc
- RAC branded teams
- Activities creating financial dependency on RAC
- Political donations
- Bodies that make grants available to others such as Trusts and Foundations
- Initiatives and projects based outside WA

Evaluation and acquittal form
If your application is successful, you will need to complete and send to the RAC an evaluation and acquittal form which must be completed within six weeks following the completion of the Community Partnership initiative.
