Unsolicited emails

The RAC is receiving many calls from people who have received an unsolicited email offering them a job with RAC Finance. These emails are a scam which come from an unknown source and can be identified through the email address recruiter@rac-careers.com, most likely with the name "David Anderson" in front.

The RAC thanks callers who have alerted us to this matter and confirms that this is a scam of which has been reported by the RAC to relevant authorities.

The Department of Consumer and Employment Protection WA (DOCEP) and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) both have websites that consumers can visit if they wish to report the matter or have any concerns.
