This warranty is given by RAC Automotive Services Pty Ltd (ABN 93 095 467 226), 832 Wellington St, West Perth 6005 (“RAC”). RAC is contactable by phoning 13 11 11.
The services performed and new parts supplied by RAC are protected by a warranty for a period of six (6) months or 10,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first) from the date they are provided for private use vehicles or three (3) months or 5,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first) from the date they are provided for commercial use vehicles. You shall be responsible for any reasonably foreseeable expenses you incur in making a warranty claim.
The benefits given to you under this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have in relation to the services and parts to which this warranty relates.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. A replacement or a refund is offered by RAC at its sole option.
Warranty Claim Procedure
To make a warranty claim, call RAC on 13 11 11 or write to RAC at 253 Balcatta Road, Balcatta, WA 6021. Please note that a warranty claim will not be honoured unless proof of purchase (e.g. invoice) is provided.
You may need to take your vehicle to a service centre designated by RAC. If you are not an RAC member at the time the warranty claim is made, a service fee may be charged if roadside assistance is provided.
