Perth's leading forklift licence training course
This course complies with the National Occupational Health and Safety Standards NOHSC: 7019 and provides the skills and knowledge required to enable participants to apply for a National Licence in High Risk Work for Forklift Operation.
Our forklift training course includes
- Planning the job.
- Pre-operational and post-operational checks.
- Job hazard analysis and hazard controls.
- Driving the forklift.
- Loading and unloading.
- Stacking and de-stacking.
- Parking and shut down.
Duration:
- 1 day – Experienced operators. (Assessment only)
- 2 days – Inexperienced trainees.
Requirements: Participants must be at least 18 years of age, have a thorough understanding of the English language to enable safe operation and communication, and have no medical or physical impairments that would affect the safe operation of a forklift truck.
Assessment: The assessment is a combination of approximately 50 handwritten questions and answers and a practical component.
Certificate: A Statement of Attainment for TLID 1007C – Operate a Forklift will be issued on successful completion of the training and assessment.
Licence: To obtain a licence you must present your Statement of Attainment and Notice of Assessment to the Department of Commerce (WorkSafe) for a High Risk Work Licence within 60 days of completing the course. A fee is payable to WorkSafe.
