Open seven days a week, the RAC Driving Centre provides Western Australian motorists with a world-class driver training facility.
Centrally located just 12 kilometres from the Perth CBD at the Perth International Airport, Western Australia, the RAC Driving Centre is set on over thirty hectares of land.

The venue is comprised of:
• Driver training areas which include two skidpans, road circuit and a 4WD circuit.
Skidpans
Our skidpans are purpose-built bitumen areas, rectangular in shape measuring 190 metres long by 33 metres wide. Their main uses include:
· Manoeuvring area for light vehicles.
· Skid cars.
· Simulation training.
· Displays.
· Reaction testing.
· Steering control.
· Lane changing manoeuvres.
· Parking.
· Reversing.
Road circuit
The road circuit incorporates a smaller skidpan consisting of an area 150 metres long by 25 metres wide. The total road circuit length is 1.6 kilometres and also includes an off- circuit turn-around area. The road circuit is also utilised for wet weather braking exercises and for motorcycle rider training.
Four-wheel drive circuit
The dedicated four-wheel drive area incorporates a three kilometre circuit. The terrain includes declines, inclines, soft sand, side slopes, hills, slow speed manoeuvring and obstacle negotiation. There is an additional track specially built for the ATV courses. This track has been designed to enable proper riding techniques for hills, slopes and rough terrain to be demonstrated and taught.
• Presentation rooms – eight designated training / conference rooms
There are eight designated training and/or conference rooms, fully equipped with data connections, projectors, laptops and whiteboards. These rooms are available to hire individually or can be used in conjunction with driver training or other corporate activities.
• Outdoor area providing the perfect location to host events
Our venue is ideal for conferences, corporate events, vehicle launches and product days. Your event can also incorporate activities on our driving circuits, which are well suited to product displays or simply for entertainment.
The spacious grassed area overlooking the circuits is perfect for any outdoor event.
