Hertz rental terms & conditions
- The CDP number (191334) must be quoted at time of reservation. If you book online, this number will automatically appear.
- To choose your additional RAC Member Discount / Offer you will also need to enter a Promotional Coupon (PC) Number. Many offers are available and can be found on the Hertz website in the Special Offers section (Auto Club Members Offers). When you choose your Special Offer, the Promotion Coupon number will also be automatically added to your blank booking form.
- Rates include Goods & Services Tax (GST), Vehicle Registration Recovery (VRR) and Stamp Duty. Conditions, local charges, surcharges, and kilometre limits and excesses may also apply.
- Rates exclude Protection Package (PKG), Accident Excess Reduction (AER), Fuel Purchase Option (FPO), Refuelling Service (FCL), One Way and Repositioning Fees and Optional Extras. All Optional extras are subject to Government Stamp Duty and GST.
- Airport locations are subject to ACFR (Airport Concession Fee Recovery) and the Stamp Duty & GST applicable to ACFR.
- Rates are available from participating Australian locations.
- Accident Damages Excess for Auto Club members is $1,650 on Car Groups A, B, H, C, D, E, U & T and $2,750 on Car Groups F, P, X, K, I & G. You may which to purchase a Travel Insurance policy prior to travel to cover this cost in the case of an accident.
- Hertz standard driver and credit qualifications in effect at the time and place of rental apply.
- Minimum rental age is 21 years (age surcharges may apply for drivers 21-24 years) on Car Groups A, B, H, C, D, E, U & T. Minimum age is 25 years for all other vehicles except Group G - BMW 5 Series which is minimum 30 years, no exceptions apply.
- Vehicle models may differ and specifications may vary by location. Supply of specific car models cannot be guaranteed.
- Vehicles can be reserved by car group only and not by particular car model or colour within a car group. Fleet subject to change without notice.
- Renter must present proof of membership at time of rental for Australian Auto Club member rates to apply.
