As the seller and registered owner of a vehicle youand the purchaser must complete the Vehicle Transfer Notification of Change of Ownership form.

• You must forward the green seller's copy to the Department for Planning and Infrastructure within seven days or be liable to a fine of $100.
• You should also provide the new owner with the pink buyer's copy of the form and the current licence papers.

Vehicle Transfer Notification of Change of Ownership forms are available from any Vehicle Licensing Centre or visit the Department for Planning and Infrastructure online.
