Enjoy the local art, history and natural beauty of the Mundaring trail, which is less than an hour’s drive from Perth and an easy day trip from most parts of the metropolitan area. Have a picnic in a secluded spot, enjoy the many walking or cycling trails, or take a scenic drive through the stunning national parks. The Railway Reserves Heritage Trail and the amazing engineering feat that is the Mundaring Weir are popular tourist attractions, as are the area’s local boutique wineries and country taverns.
