The Camping Card International (CCI) is a respected proof of identity across Europe and Africa. It provides you with insurance for accidents occurring on campsites. It also entitles you to a small reduction in charges at some campsites.
A CCI has the same value as a passport for the campsite owners. It’s essential in Europe, and some campsite proprietors won’t allow you to use a site without one.
It also covers third-party insurance claims in respect of:
- Bodily injury and disease.
- Damage to your property caused by you or any person travelling with you in the same private vehicle (maximum 11 passengers).
A CCI costs $25. To purchase a CCI you need to be an RAC member or an Auto Club member. Join the RAC today. A CCI can be purchased from our RAC Travel Centre in West Perth.
