Day 1 - 21 May 2024
Departing from Perth mid-morning, you’ll be whisked away to your first food experience in no time at all, for a farm-to-table café lunch and time to browse the bush-tucker garden. Heading further south, you’ll pop into a small family operated chestnut farm to experience a range of award-winning products. From there, you’ll head to your accommodation then prepare for a dinner in a lakeside restaurant, where the chef creates stunning meals featuring local produce.
Day 2 - 22 May 2024
After breakfast and time to explore the resort, you’ll be guided through an outdoor sculpture walk where impressive pieces tower over you and others quietly peep out from the scrub. Enjoy a catered picnic-lunch in a scenic spot before visiting WA’s only Sencha green tea farm and processing facility. Sample the brews and enjoy the salty air, before travelling further north to be wowed by a bustling berry farm, producing juicy strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and more. After a short drive you’ll visit a quaint winery to sample their organic wines and cider, before visiting the tranquil and scenic Big Brook Dam. To end the day, you’ll enjoy a tasty dinner at a charming country pub before turning in to bed.
Day 3 – 23 May 2024
Your final day will begin with breakfast enjoyed overlooking the lake, then off to visit a passionate apiarist to sample his monofloral honey offerings. Your senses will be tantalised with stop at a decadent chocolate factory, before a scrumptious lunch at the cidery, before embarking on the trip back to Perth.
