Day 1 | Arrive Dubrovnik
Welcome to the walled city of Dubrovnik. We’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a welcome reception.
Day 2 | Dubrovnik, Konavle Valley
Today you have a choice as to how you would like to experience Dubrovnik. Then enjoy your Signature Experience in the Konavle Valley. The evening is free for you to check out the local dining scene independentlySignature Experience: Travel to the Konavle Valley and enjoy a welcome lunch at a family-owned farm. Meet the family that have lived in the region for more than 400 years, and learn about daily life on the farm.
Freedom of choice - Sightseeing: Perhaps spend the day exploring the major sights of the Old Town and see its well-preserved baroque, Renaissance and Gothic architecture. Or you may prefer to embark on a tour of the city’s walls, completed in the 16th century.
Day 3 | Dubrovnik, Kotor, Porto Montenegro
Visit the Maritime Museum of Montenegro, then continue to your luxurious hotel, situated in an unrivalled waterfront position at Porto Montenegro’s super-yacht haven. Here, you’ll have some time to soak up the atmosphere or head out and explore before dinner tonight.
Day 4 | Porto Montenegro, Mostar
Travel to Mostar and learn about the city’s history on a tour. Here, delight in seeing the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge), originally built between 1557 and 1566.
Day 5 | Mostar, Sarajevo
Sarajevo was nearly destroyed during the war of the 1990s. A local expert who lived through the war will show you the poignant sights, including the Sarajevo War Tunnel. You'll also see Sarajevo's old town, including the Baščaršija, the city's old bazaar and historic city centre dating back to the 15th century when Isa-Beg Isaković founded the town. An array of diverse architecture is also on display at the Gazi Husref Bey's mosque complex.
Day 6 | Mostar, Split
On your way to Split, stop to visit a traditional mill to sample some of the local produce, followed by lunch in this exquisite setting. Afterwards in Split, you will have some time at leisure to explore on your own.
Day 7 | Split
Embark on a guided discovery that takes you to the Diocletian’s Palace, the Roman Square as well as Cardo and Decumanus streets.Freedom of Choice - Dining: Tonight, choose to dine at your hotel or at a local restaurant, the Adriatic Graso, which overlooks the ACI marina.
Day 8 | Split, Krka National Park, Plitvice
Explore what appears to be endless waterfalls and gorges that rush into turquoise pools of Krka National Park. The park extends 73km along the Krka River, running from the Adriatic all the way to the Croatian inland mountains. Later, arrive at Plitvice and perhaps try the local suckling pig for dinner.
Day 9 | Plitvice Lakes National Park, Rastoke, Zagreb
Discover the magic of Plitvice Lakes National Park. Tour the incredible turquoise lakes, before a relaxing cruise within the idyllic surrounds. Afterwards, call in at the tiny village of Rastoke, known for its well-preserved mills, before arriving in Zagreb.
Day 10 | Zagreb
Enjoy a guided city discovery of Zagreb, known for its vibrant culture intertwined within its Austro-Hungarian architecture. Tonight, you may like to try the local dining scene for dinner, or relax and unwind at your hotel.
Day 11 | Zagreb, Jastrebarsko
Start your day with a drive along the Plešivica Wine Road with about 40 different wineries found along the trail. During your exploration, you will call into a local workshop, as well as a natural local water source. Back in Zagreb, enjoy a farewell dinner.Freedom of Choice - Sightseeing: Arrive in the town of Jastrebarsko, where you will have the choice of a bike ride or a gentle walk through the region’s verdant hills and valleys.
Signature Experience: Since you are visiting the Plešivica Wine Road, we couldn’t let you leave without a visit to one of the best local vineyards for a tasting, and also the perfect setting for lunch.
Day 12 | Budapest
Travel to Budapest, where you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy an evening at leisure.
Day 13 | Depart Budapest
Be transferred to the airport.
