Day 1 | Arrive Santiago (Chile)
Arrive in Santiago, the vibrant Chilean capital. Situated in the Santiago basin, this metropolis is spectacularly flanked by the Andes and enjoys one of the most magnificent settings of any city in the world. On arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy a Welcome Reception tonight.
Day 2 | Santiago, Valparaíso
After breakfast this morning, head off to explore the picturesque port city of Valparaíso, one of the South Pacific’s most important seaports. On arrival here, set out on a sightseeing tour of the World Heritage-listed town centre, take a drive up into the surrounding hills to absorb the stunning vistas of the bay and the colourful city below. Later, return to Santiago for your evening at leisure.
Day 3 | Santiago, Buenos Aires (Argentina)
This morning, see Santiago’s modern and historic sites on a guided tour. Rich in history, walk around the Plaza de Armas before transferring to the airport and flying to Buenos Aires. On arrival, check in to your hotel then enjoy free time.

Day 4 | Buenos Aires
Your in-depth sightseeing tour of Buenos Aires begins this morning at the Avenida de Mayo. See the pink Casa Rosada (Government House), the city’s cathedral and the Cabildo, Buenos Aires’ first city hall. Later, explore the Italian-influenced barrio of La Boca and its famously colourful pedestrian street, the Caminito. You’ll also travel along Avenida 9 de Julio.
Insider Experience: Visit Café Tortoni, an amazing coffee house with a rich history. Here, indulge in a coffee and a selection of Spanish delicacies. This evening, indulge in an authentic Argentinian dinner while taking in an exhilarating tango performance.

Day 5 | Buenos Aires
Armed with the insight and advice provided by your knowledgeable Travelmarvel Tour Director, today is yours to either relax or further explore this fascinating city. Enhance Your Journey: Perhaps enjoy a vibrant and interactive tango dance class; head to Tigre and cruise the Paraná Delta; or visit a hacienda (ranch) for a full-day adventure featuring horseback riding, folk music and lunch.
Day 6 | Buenos Aires, Rio De Janeiro (Brazil)
This morning, fly to beautiful Rio de Janeiro, also known as ‘Cidade Maravilhosa’ – Portuguese for the Marvellous City. On arrival, after checking-in, enjoy time to recharge or stroll along the stunning Copacabana beachfront.
Day 7 | Rio De Janeiro
Soak up Rio de Janeiro’s unique atmosphere with most of the day at leisure. In the evening, embark on a picturesque sunset cable car ride up to the majestic peak of Sugarloaf Mountain, where sublime views await you.
Insider Experience: Later this evening, sample Brazil’s national cocktail, the caipirinha, before enjoying a delicious Brazilian BBQ dinner.
Day 8 | Rio De Janeiro
Head to Corcovado Mountain and visit the astonishing statue of Christ the Redeemer at the peak, absorbing the breathtaking views from the top. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure. Enhance Your Journey: Today, you may like to visit the Maracanã Stadium or take in a historical walking tour.

Day 9 | Rio De Janeiro, Iguazú Falls (Brazil And Argentina)
Fly from Rio de Janeiro to Iguazú Falls, a system of 275 falls on the border of Argentina and Brazil. On the Brazilian side, experience the majesty of World Heritage-listed Iguazú National Park with a half-day tour. Walk through the spectacular subtropical rainforest and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the falls.
Day 10 | Iguazú Falls
On the Argentinian side, ride the Rainforest Ecological Train to a series of walkways and viewing points. This narrow gauge train stops at several locations including one that leads to the 82-metre-high Devil’s Throat, one of the most spectacular falls of the region. Enhance Your Journey: Perhaps board a speed boat safari and get up close to the powerful waterfalls or enjoy a hands-on Argentine Experience Dinner.
Day 11 | Iguazú Falls, Lima (Peru)
Today is yours to explore at leisure. Enhance Your Journey: At Iguazú Falls, perhaps learn about native bird species at Parque das Aves. This evening, fly to the vibrant metropolis of Lima to commence your Peruvian adventure.
Day 12 | Lima, Cusco, Chinchero, Sacred Valley
Wake early this morning, and fly to the World Heritage-listed city of Cusco, the former capital of the Inca Empire. Travel through Cusco to Chinchero, a city located in the stunning Andean highlands. This evening enjoy dinner at your hotel. Soak up the Andean atmosphere and relax in comfort at the premium Aranwa Sacred Valley.

Day 14 | Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu
Board the Vistadome train and soak up the stunning Andean landscapes as you head to Machu Picchu. On arrival, you’ll set out on a locally guided tour of the incredible Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Enjoy dinner at your hotel.

Day 15 | Machu Picchu, Cusco
With the morning free you might like to step out and wander amid the colourful stalls of the Mercado de Artesanias craft market in Aguas Calientes. Enhance Your Journey: why not revisit Machu Picchu to further explore. Later today re-board the Vistadome train for your journey to Ollantaytambo station, before a coach returns you to Cusco. Enjoy a delicious Peruvian dinner and traditional folklore show at the Tunupa Restaurant Bar & Grill this evening.
Day 16 | Cusco
A guided walking tour through Cusco today will take you to the city’s historic heart, the Plaza de Armas. During your tour you’ll visit the sacred site of Koricancha and the Baroque church of Santo Domingo. The afternoon is yours to enjoy the atmosphere of this city.
Day 17 | Cusco, Lake Titicaca
Take a coach to the city of Puno, on the shores of Lake Titicaca. Along the way, you’ll stop at the small town of Andahuaylillas, known for its picturesque Sistine Chapel. You’ll also stop for a hearty buffet lunch. On arrival in Puno, this evening is at your leisure.
Day 18 | Lake Titicaca, Lima
Set on the border of Peru and Bolivia, Lake Titicaca is the highest altitude lake in the world. Enhance Your Journey: Enjoy a free morning here or perhaps visit Sillustani Burial site, an intriguing pre-Incan cemetery. After lunch at at the hotel set out on a cruise over the lake to the extraordinary home of the Uros people – a group of more than 40 man-made islands created from floating reeds. On this remarkable trip, you’ll enjoy an insight into the Uros’ unique way of life and experience the spectacular scenery that characterises the region. Afterwards, be transferred to the airport to board your flight to Lima.
Day 19 | Lima
Relax in the morning before taking part in a guided tour of the World Heritage-listed historic centre of Lima. On this tour, admire one of Lima’s most religious locations, the Iglesia de Santo Domingo. Built in the 16th century, this pink convent is also the resting place for three important Peruvian saints.
Insider Experience: This evening, indulge in a Farewell Dinner at Restaurant Huaca Pucllana, set within the ruins of an archaeological compound beside an illuminated adobe pyramid.
Day 20 | Depart Lima
This morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
