Day 1 | Arrive Amsterdam, embark ship
Welcome to Amsterdam! We’ll meet you on arrival and transfer you to your ship – your luxurious floating hotel for the next 15 days – where you’ll have time to unpack and get ready for everything that’s about to come.

Day 2 | Amsterdam
Choose your sightseeing. We have left the afternoon free so you can get out and explore more on your own. Tonight, enjoy a gala welÂcome dinner.
Freedom of choice - sightseeing: Perhaps admire Amsterdam’s canals from a glass-top boat as you glide past 17th-century homes, churches and merchant houses. Otherwise, gourmet lovers will enjoy a culinary journey through Jordaan and visit a fishmonger, bakery and cheese store.

Day 3 | Rotterdam
Choose the sightseeing that suits you. Afterwards, discover Rotterdam on a guided tour, or maybe head off and explore on your own. Later, enjoy dinner on board.
Freedom of choice - sightseeing: Enjoy a guided exploration of The Hague and see the Dutch Parliament building and the Peace Palace. Alternatively, visit the cheese mecca of Gouda to sample the region’s finest varieties.

Day 4 | Kinderdijk, Willemstad
Visit World Heritage-listed Kinderdijk, known for having the country’s greatest concentration of 18th-century windmills. Then enjoy your Signature Experience.
Signature Experience: Stop in Willemstad, where we have prepared something special for you, an incredible private organ recital at the oldest Protestant church in the Netherlands.

Day 5 | Bruinisse, Delta Works
Cruise into the region of Zeeland, home to one of the world’s most complex modern engineering projects, the Delta Works, a series of flood protection systems including storm surge barriers that took more than 30 years to complete.

Day 6 | Ghent
Today presents two very different but equally tempting sightseeing choices. Afterwards, return to your ship for dinner.
Freedom of choice - sightseeing: Explore the Somme Battlefields, including the 1st and 2nd Australian Division Memorials and the John Monash Centre. Alternatively, enjoy a guided discovery of Ghent, including a canal cruise.

Day 7 | Ghent
A new day presents new choices in sightseeing.
Freedom of choice - sightseeing: Enjoy a full day visiting the Battlefields of Fromelles, including the Flanders Field Museum, Pheasant Wood Cemetery and the VC Corner Australian Cemetery. You will also have the opportunity to view The Last Post at Menin Gate. Alternatively, enjoy a full day to soak up the historic wonders of Bruges, including Markt Plaza and Belfry.

Day 8 | Ghent
Today presents a great opportunity to recharge the batteries halfway through your journey, with a full day at leisure. The canal-side architecture offers numerous medieval and classical wonders. You may wish to take one of the onboard bikes out for a spin and explore the town on your own. Or you may wish to do nothing at all and relax.

Day 9 | Antwerp
Arrive in Antwerp where you can join a culinary walk to sample Belgium’s renowned waffles and chocolate, and taste for yourself as to why they’re considered the world’s finest. Anzac Day Dawn Service in Villers-Bretonneux: On our 17 April departure, Day 09 offers you the incredible opportunity to attend the very moving Anzac Day Dawn Service at Villers-Bretonneux. This day commemorates the anniversary of the victory at the Second Battle of Villers-Bretonneux.

Day 10 | Antwerp
A visit to the Belgium battlefields takes you to Tyne Cot Cemetery, Polygon Wood and the Memorial Museum Passchendaele. You also have the option to take it easy with a full day at leisure. Perhaps take your APT Concierge app for a spin and explore on your own.

Day 11 | Maastricht
Enjoy your Signature Experience. Later, tour Maastricht, renowned for its maze of tunnel caves, Roman history and historic architecture. Afterwards, take some free time to either do a little more exploring, or maybe relax on board with a drink at the bar.

Choose the sightseeing that’s right for you.
Freedom of choice - sightseeing: Visit the Kroller-Muller Museum and discover its sculptural art collection, including masterpieces by Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso. Alternatively, pay your respects at the Jonkerbos War Cemetery, where more than 1,500 Commonwealth World War II soldiers are buried.

Day 13 | Arnhem
Today is yours to design with our Freedom of Choice inclusions.
Freedom of choice - sightseeing: In Arnhem, history buffs will love the Airborne Museum, which depicts the Battle of Arnhem in which the Allied Forces attempted to form a bridgehead on the northern banks of the Rhine river in September 1944. Or discover The Netherlands Open Air Museum where a number of Dutch houses, farms and windmills have been expertly recreated to appear as they were centuries ago.

Day 14 | Amsterdam, Keukenhof
Visit the Keukenhof Gardens, encompassing more than 70 acres of renowned gardens and parklands. Relish the chance to admire the spectacular display of bulb flowers in bloom, including colourful tulips. Tonight, sit down to the captain’s farewell dinner.

Day 15 | Disembark Ship, Depart Amsterdam
Sadly today, your journey draws to a conclusion. Say your farewells, disembark your ship and be transferred to the airport.
