As a member focused organisation, the RAC provides grants to assist a broad range of worthwhile causes that strengthen the local communities in which our members reside.
The RAC will provide grants of between $100 (exc GST) and $2,000 (exc GST) for initiatives that provide a clear benefit to the community.
Criteria for applying:
- Must provide clear community benefit
- Must be a registered business
- Support at least one of the Mobility themes
- Applications must be received at least three months prior to the commencement of the project/initiative
- Applicant cannot apply for an RAC Community Partnership for the same initiative in the same round
What the RAC will not support?
- Requests from individuals such as those seeking support for academic studies, medical treatment, accommodation etc
- RAC branded teams
- Activities creating financial dependency on RAC
- Political donations
- Bodies that make grants available to others such as Trusts and Foundations
- Initiatives and projects based outside WA

Evaluation and acquittal form
If your application is successful, you will need to complete and send to the RAC an evaluation and acquittal form which must be completed within six weeks following the completion of the Grass Roots Grants initiative.
