As part of our ongoing commitment to a cleaner, greener WA, we held our 2025 Member Tree Planting Day in partnership with the Armadale Gosnells Landcare Group, and City of Gosnells.
Passionate RAC members contributed their time and energy to support local biodiversity and reduce carbon emissions. Despite wet and muddy conditions, more than 3,000 native seedlings were planted by passionate Families, friends, and individuals part of the RAC community.
The day began with a short demonstration on planting techniques to give the seedlings the best chance of survival. From there, volunteers worked together to restore native habitat.
Following the planting activity, members were treated to a well-earned lunch—offering a chance to connect and celebrate their hard work.
This event is one of several initiatives delivered through our Community Volunteering program. Which brings together RAC people, members and local organisations to protect and restore Western Australia’s natural heritage.
RAC thanks all members who joined us for this impactful day, with plenty more opportunities like these planned for the future.
