The clinic was part of RAC’s growing partnership with the Dockers as their official road safety partner. It brought together sport, learning and community in a fun and meaningful way.
Young players took part in drills, games and skill sessions, guided by AFL and AFLW players who shared their tips and experience. The kids built confidence, learned teamwork and improved their footy skills—all while having a great time.
Off the field, there was plenty for families to enjoy too. There was a sausage sizzle, plus hands-on activities like the RAC Rescue Experience and RAC Hot Shot Challenge. These fun activities helped teach important road safety messages in a way everyone could understand.
The RAC Junior Footy Clinic shows how working with the Dockers is helping create positive and inclusive experiences for members and the wider community. It’s all about staying active, connecting with others and learning how to stay safe—on and off the field.
RAC’s partnership with the Dockers is also helping share an important message with footy fans across Western Australia: road safety matters.
In 2024, WA recorded its highest road toll in 10 years, with 188 lives lost. Sadly, this trend has continued into 2025. It’s a reminder that we all need to play a role in keeping our roads safe.
At RAC, we believe everyone can make a difference. By working with the Fremantle Dockers, we’re using the power of sport to reach more people, support our communities and encourage safer choices every day.
Together, we can help create a safer WA—on the roads, in the stands and beyond.
