For a man who’s not big on heights, Chris Beauchamp has one of the most important jobs in the sky.

He’s been flying for more than 15 years and, now that he’s a pilot for the RAC Rescue helicopters, wouldn’t do anything else.

Chris makes sure there’s enough fuel in the tank to get to the scene, checks the weather so the crew can safely do the job, and makes sure they can land at the site. If not, he’ll come up with a solution.

Chris insists he's just a normal guy who's got a great job that makes difference. But given that he flies high-tech helicopters that save lives, we'd argue that his job with RAC Rescue is anything but normal.
