See the iconic Stirling Ranges like never before at Wild Gravel - a visually stunning, adrenaline-filled cycling, running and walking festival with events for all ages and abilities.
The Stirling Ranges, or Koi Kyenu-Ruff, are the crown jewel of WA’s Great Southern. While many visit to climb Bluff Knoll, Wild Gravel offers a new way to experience the picturesque landscape on two wheels or two feet.
From a 150km gravel riding challenge through mountains and historic towns, to a fun 5km family run or walk, there are 15 different event options designed to suit everyone.
The action kicks off on Friday 10 October in the Gnowangerup town centre with a relaxed community afternoon of food and music from 2pm. Visitors can collect registration packs, join guided rides, take part in a kids’ bike obstacle course, or join the free 5km or 10km paddock runs.
Saturday is when the real adventure begins. Runners, walkers and cyclists will tackle their chosen routes through the Stirling Range National Park - passing wildflowers, wildlife, farmland and mountain lookouts.
For those taking on the ultimate 150km ride, eight towns along the course provide rest stops, meals or overnight stays. And if you’re more about the views than the personal best, e-bikes are welcome.
The weekend finishes with the Wild Gravel After Party at Mt Trio Bush Camp & Caravan Park, an evening of live music, food and fun under the stars.
Don't stop at just one day - stay on to hike, camp and explore the Great Southern, or continue your journey to Albany for more adventures.
