Each November, Ardross Street in Applecross transforms into a sea of purple, with jacaranda trees in full bloom creating one of Perth’s most photographed spring scenes.
On Sunday 23 November, the street will come alive with more than 160 stalls selling everything from handcrafted jewellery to gourmet treats and festive gifts. It’s the perfect place to shop local and tick off some early Christmas presents.
Visitors can enjoy a full day of live music, food trucks, coffee vans and family-friendly activities, with talented local performers entertaining crowds throughout the event.
Run entirely by volunteers from Applecross Rotary, the Jacaranda Festival has become a much-loved annual tradition for thousands of Perth locals — a day to celebrate community under a canopy of purple blooms.
Parking is available on the Applecross Primary School oval, with a wheelchair-accessible shuttle bus running between the oval and festival site.
If you’re looking for a day of food, shopping, music and fun, mark your calendar for this purple-filled Perth event.
