Playtime just got sandy with the opening of Perth’s first-ever indoor sandbox experience at Watertown Outlet Centre in West Perth.
Perfect for kids obsessed with diggers, trucks and all things construction, Little Builders is a brand-new hands-on play space designed to spark creativity, imagination and big builds rain, hail or shine.
The massive indoor play area features 50 tonnes of contaminant-free sand, inviting children to dig, scoop and build their way through a world inspired by real-life construction sites.
Spanning 550 square metres, the oversized sandbox is packed with more than 100 interactive tools and toys, including ride-on diggers, buckets, shovels and mould kits. Little builders can create towering sandcastles, carve winding roads and explore themed play zones designed for open-ended, imagination-led fun.
Beyond the fun, the concept is designed to support children’s development, helping build motor skills, problem-solving abilities and teamwork, while introducing them to real-world construction in a playful way.
Parents can relax knowing the sand is carefully maintained and sanitised daily, ensuring a clean and safe environment for children to play.
As well as individual play sessions, Little Builders can also be booked for construction-themed birthday parties and private events perfect for kids who love to build big.
