There aren’t many places where you can browse vintage treasures while enjoying charcuterie and coffee — but at South West Bottega, you can.
Opening this July just outside Busselton, South West Bottega offers a fresh take on community, cuisine and conscious design.
Taking over the former Quill Collective site, this unique venue blends casual Italian dining with vintage shopping, a children’s playground, and a thriving community garden.
Co-founders Marco Daquino and Damiano Suadoni bring a rare mix of experience to the table. Daquino, who also runs a junk removal business in Perth, sourced much of the fit-out from salvaged and repurposed materials — creating a space filled with vintage furniture, homewares, records and other second-hand gems, all available for purchase.
Suadoni, originally from Terni in central Italy, has over a decade of international hospitality experience and is the founder of a WA-based truffle business. His premium truffle products, along with house-made olive oil pressed from olives grown on-site, feature both on the seasonal menu and in-store.
South West Bottega’s relaxed menu includes Italian-inspired antipasti, salads, desserts, coffee and wine, with plans to introduce handmade pasta and larger seasonal plates.
The venue is designed to welcome families and the broader community, with creative workshops and events set to roll out later in the year.
South West Bottega opens Friday 4 July at 363 Rendezvous Road, Vasse.
Opening hours: Tues–Thurs 7am–2pm, Fri–Sat 7am–late, Sun 7am–5pm.
