Australia’s very first fully electric ocean-going charter vessel is now plying the waters of Ningaloo Reef, giving visitors an extra special and extra peaceful experience of this stunning coastline.
Coral Bay’s Ocean Eco Adventures added the vessel to their fleet as part of their commitment to sustainable tourism in the region.
Named Wirraji, which is Baiyungu for ‘storm bird’, the 10.2m catamaran can quietly cruise the reef searching for resident manta rays as part of Ocean Eco Adventures’ manta ray swim tours.
You’ll travel through Coral Bay and Batemans Bay in quiet comfort and be taken to pristine sites on the inner reef.
All manta ray swimming adventures also include two stops to snorkel through coral gardens where you can see even more of the reef’s spectacular marine life, including turtles, dolphins, and hundreds of colourful fish.
On board the luxurious catamaran, visitors will be served a continental breakfast, a gourmet lunch, and close out the day with a drink and more gourmet treats.
The tour also includes return transfers from Exmouth to Coral Bay.
Bookings are now open for the 2026 season. For more information, visit oceanecoadventures.com.au
