Known as the fruit bowl of WA, the small South West town of Donnybrook is just over two hours from Perth and the gateway to the Geographe Wine Region. While many travellers pass through for a quick produce or petrol pit stop, the Long Table Lunch is reason to linger longer.
On Saturday 4 October 2025, 150 guests will gather in a rustic yet stylish setting inside an old fruit packing shed on Orchard 1 Sixty, a third-generation orchard run by the Licciardello family. Here, long communal tables will be laden with the region's beautiful bounty for an afternoon of dining and dancing.
This year’s menu is crafted by local restaurateurs Vat 2, celebrating the best of Donnybrook’s seasonal produce including fresh fruits, vegetables, marron, meats and more, all sourced from nearby farms.
Dishes will be paired with a handpicked line-up of local wines, beers and ciders, with bottles from Smallwater Estate, Barrecas, Bakkheia Wines, Jarrahwood Estate, Oakway Estate Wines, Balingup Fruit Winery and Shag Brewing Company on the table. Non-alcoholic options will also be available.
Beyond the feast, guests will enjoy live music by Groove Addiction, a silent auction and a door prize to round out the afternoon.
Run by a talented team of local volunteers, this event lets the town's local flavours, community spirit and country hospitality really shine, proving Donnybrook truly is a destination worth visiting.
If you’re staying nearby, buses will run from Bunbury, Boyanup and the Donnybrook Visitor Centre, so you can relax and make the most of the day.
