There’s no better way to celebrate the end of winter than a Sunday drive to the countryside.
On Sunday 30 August, Bindoon Oval transforms into a vibrant village of market stalls, cooking shows and live entertainment for the annual Taste of Chittering festival.
Now in its 17th year, the event draws over 6,500 visitors to enjoy fresh produce, local flavours and family-friendly fun.
From seasonal fruits and preserves to handmade arts and crafts, the festival features more than 50 markets stalls packed with local delights. Discover artisan goods, meet passionate growers and producers, and sample your way through Chittering’s natural pantry.
Learn from talented chefs during live cooking demonstrations as you watch, taste and take home recipes you can try out in the kitchen.
Kids can roam free with a range of children’s activities including face painting, interactive art stations and outdoor play area.
No one goes hungry at Taste of Chittering, with tasting stalls, gourmet food trucks and local wine and cider on the menu all day.
The Chittering Valley is famous for its rolling hills, vineyards, wildflower trails, and orchards. Turn your festival visit into a full adventure and make a pit stop at a local winery, fruit stall or hit a walking trail.
Shake off winter and start planning your road trip to the Chittering region.
