Clear your calendar and loosen your appetite - Taste Great Southern 2026 is back and serving up its biggest feast yet.

From 5-8 March 2026, the region will transform into a playground for food lovers, wine enthusiasts, and experience seekers, showcasing world-class chefs, local producers, and the breathtaking landscapes that make this part of Western Australia unforgettable.

This year’s festival dishes up 20+ curated events, from long-table lunches and chef-foraged feasts to gourmet hikes, cultural food journeys, and cellar door adventures, celebrating everything the region does best.

A major drawcard of the festival is the stellar chef lineup. Jo Barrett will join WA’s own Evan Hayter, Paul "Yoda" Iskov, and Corey Rozario for Tides of Taste x Singlefile at Maitraya Retreat Homestead. Over in the Porongurups, chef and television personality Guy Turland takes dining to new heights with Peak to Plate, where gourmet dining meets the Porongurup’s panoramic views.

Crowd favourite Denmark Wine Hop is back too, a hop-on, hop-off winery adventure that lets you set your own pace through four iconic cellar doors.

New to the lineup in 2026, the Taste Market will take over Middleton Beach on Sunday 8 March. This foodie haven brings together local wines, fresh regional produce, and chef pop-ups, plus sommelier-led masterclasses. RAC members save 10% on tickets, the perfect excuse to sip, savour, and shop local.

There’s something for everyone: from barefoot bowls paired with a shared-table feast at Chefs on the Green, to sailing the Southern Ocean for a secret coastal feast with Fervor Voyage. For an intimate experience, join an unforgettable long-table dinner celebrating Menang culture with Flavours of the Country, or simply graze your way through Albany’s Farmers Market with the region’s growers. This is the Great Southern at its most delicious.
