Araluen Botanic Park will burst into colour once again from 22 August to 3 October for the annual Yates’ Springtime at Araluen Tulip Festival.
Featuring over 250,000 vibrant tulips among the huge 60-hectare park in the Perth Hills, this year’s event is set to be the most magical yet.
For the first time ever, the park will stay open after dark for Symphony Among the Tulips - a twilight concert weekend in the garden amphitheatre with acclaimed local musicians Dolce Ensemble.
Guests can enjoy exclusive after-hours access to the park followed by a symphonic tribute to Fleetwood Mac and Queen under the stars. A vintage bar and food trucks will be onsite, so bring a picnic rug and low chair for the full experience.
Weekends during the festival will be buzzing with pop-up cafes, food trucks and live acoustic sets on both Saturdays and Sundays.
Kids can join in the fun too, with free entry for children under 12, and a packed weekend program with face painting, dancing, train rides, and roving garden-themed games and performances. The Araluen Heritage trackless train will return for the event, offering scenic 20-minute hop-on, hop-off rides through the grounds, Wednesday to Sunday.
In addition to the tulips, the park will also showcase 70,000 other spring bulbs, a rare international camellia collection, and stunning heritage roses, all in full bloom.
