This season, WA’s events calendar is calling. From regional festivals to lively city celebrations, there’s a lineup of experiences designed to get you out of the routine and into the moment. From beachside sculptures and glowing installations to harvest feasts, surf showdowns and street performers taking over entire town centres, WA is hitting the sweet spot.
The next few months are stacked with reasons to leave the house, all you have to do is pick your adventure.
6–8 March | Harvey
A much-loved celebration of food, culture, and country life, this event brings three days of local flavour, hands-on creative workshops, live music, and family-friendly fun to the heart of the Harvey region.
5–8 March | Great Southern Region (Albany & Denmark)
This year’s festival dishes up 20+ curated events, from long-table lunches and chef-foraged feasts to gourmet hikes. RAC members save 10% on tickets to the Taste Market on 8 March at Middleton Beach, Albany.
14–15 March | Mandurah Waterfront
WA’s iconic blue manna crab takes centre stage alongside headline music acts, gourmet food stalls, family-friendly activities, and live entertainment at this much-loved event.
14 March | Birdwood Square, Perth
Join the fun with shamrocks, music, dancing, a kids’ zone, a lively parade, and plenty of traditional Irish cuisine at this vibrant celebration.
6–23 March | Cottesloe Beach
One of the world’s largest free outdoor sculpture exhibitions. Set along the sand and shoreline of Perth’s iconic Cottesloe Beach, the exhibition will feature more than 70 large-scale artworks.
13–15, 20–22 & 27–29 March | Albany
The largest light installation on Earth illuminates Albany’s landmarks across nine spectacular nights as part of the city’s 2026 bicentenary celebrations.
7–22 March | Various venues across the City of Joondalup
Experience 16 days of pure creativity at this arts extravaganza, where ancient storytelling meets waterborne spectacles, immersive art installations, electrifying performances, and interactive experiences.
22 March | York
Rev your engines and join the high-octane fun at the York Motorcycle Festival. Celebrate everything about bikes and riding culture with thrilling displays, live music, and entertainment for all ages.
3–6 April (Easter long weekend) | Fremantle
Australia’s largest street arts festival, featuring more than 160 family-friendly free performances and events across Fremantle’s streets and laneways.
10–13 April | Karijini National Park
Step into the heart of the Pilbara for a four-day celebration of music, culture, food and family-friendly fun, set among Karijini’s iconic gorges and waterholes.
17–27 April | Surfers Point, Margaret River
WA’s biggest surfing event and a highlight of the World Surf League Championship Tour, showcasing the world’s top surfers in action. Spectators can watch live and free at Surfers Point.
15–24 May | Kununurra (Miriwoong & Gajirrabeng Country)
Ten days of cultural experiences, rodeo thrills, delicious dining, live music, arts, and comedy as we celebrate 25 years of this iconic Kimberley festival.
30 May | Mullewa
Saddle up for heart-stopping bull riding, barrel racing, live music, and free family fun at WA's wildest rodeo and country music festival.
