If you love fast-paced fun with a high-tech twist, BattleKart Perth is cranking the excitement into overdrive, turning a regular go-kart track into a real-life Mario Kart experience. Located in Malaga, the venue combines electric go-karting with interactive augmented reality for an unforgettable ride.
Players race on a physical track while navigating a fully digital world projected across the floor. Over 50 overhead projectors and sensors create an immersive environment, complete with rockets, oil spills, power-ups, and other in-game hazards that react in real time. It’s competitive, social, and unlike anything else in the city, perfect for both first timers and seasoned gamers.
BattleKart is a global phenomenon, with 57 centres across 10 countries from Dubai to Paris, and Perth marks the fourth Australian location. Local expansion is led by Belinda Balbissi, owner of BattleKart Melbourne, who has brought this next-level entertainment to the northern suburbs.
Beyond racing, BattleKart Perth is an experience designed for everyone: birthdays, family outings, corporate team events, or just a night out with friends. The mix of real driving and digital gameplay makes each visit feels fresh, exciting, and completely unforgettable.
BattleKart Perth isn’t just an activity, it’s an experience. We can’t wait for Perth to try it for themselves and see what makes it so different and fun.
Riders must be at least 145cm tall to operate the electric karts, which feature anti-collision technology so helmets aren’t required. Each session lasts 15 minutes, with multiple game modes, including BattleRace, BattleVirus, and BattlePool.
