If you’ve spent much time around Guildford, there’s a good chance you already know The Stirling Arms. Now, the team behind the much-loved pub has added another reason to stop by, with Billie’s bringing breakfast, brunch and an all-day atmosphere to the venue.

After more than two years running The Stirling Arms, the team wanted to create a space that could be enjoyed from morning through to evening, rather than being tied to the traditional pub day.

A family and two staff members stand outside a local cafe smiling for a photo.

Mornings at Billie’s are all about breakfast, brunch and coffee, with a relaxed setting designed for everything from a family breakfast to a catch-up with friends.

As the day goes on, things take a moodier turn. Billie’s transitions into a bar serving cocktails and local wines, giving the space a different feel as the afternoon shifts into evening.

A 3D architectural rendering of a modern cafe interior. The space features black round tables with matching chairs and bar stools lined up along a wooden counter in the background.

The idea is to keep things comfortable and welcoming throughout the day, whether you’re dropping in for coffee, settling in for a meal or meeting friends for a drink later on.

Families have another reason to make a trip of it, too. Just behind The Stirling Arms is Percy’s Playground, a nature-inspired, fully gated play space designed for little ones to play, explore and use their imaginations.

There’s a sandpit, toddler play area, cubby house, sensory activities and craft experiences, giving kids plenty to discover while parents can relax nearby.

An outdoor nature-based playground at a family-friendly venue is filled with children playing under large shade sails.

For the team behind Billie’s, the new venue is an extension of what they have already created at The Stirling Arms, with the same welcoming spirit but a slightly different offering.

The aim is to create a place that feels like it belongs in the local community, while giving visitors discovering Guildford for the first time somewhere new to stop.

With breakfast and brunch by day, cocktails and local wine by night, and a family-friendly playground just around the corner, Billie’s is giving an established Guildford favourite a new way to welcome people through the doors.
