Despite its reputation as a summer hotspot, the Margaret River region continues to draw crowds in winter thanks to its cosy foodie spots, welcoming wineries and one much-loved festival – Cabin Fever.
Held over 10 days in July, the winter festival celebrates the region's renowned food, wine and music scene with fireside feasts, long lunches and flavour-packed events designed to warm the soul.
This year marks Cabin Fever's 10th anniversary, and organisers are promising their biggest program yet.
More than 40 events feature on this year's line-up, with several already sold out, including the famous Cheese Toastie Battle and the Fireside Bottomless Brunch. But there are still plenty of incredible experiences to book, making now the perfect time to lock in a fun winter weekend down south.
Here's a taste of what's on this year's program:
De'cadent
Enjoy an intimate dining experience with de'sendent's Evan Hayter and Hearth's Brian Cole, who will collaborate on a seasonal, produce-driven menu paired with thoughtful beverages.
