Contemporary artists from across Australia and the world will be converging on our port city once again for the 2025 Fremantle Biennale arts festival.
This festival’s theme is Sanctuary 25, exploring what it means to seek, shape and share spaces.
Taking place at sites across Fremantle, from the coast to Fremantle's streets and venues, the Biennale features interactive art installations, immersive audio-visual experiences, live performances, workshops, and special events.
Visit a sound and sculpture installation inside the Whalers Tunnel, listen to the Sounds of Summer soundscape capturing live streams of audio from microphones hidden around the city, and share food and stories at the Community Kitchen on Bathers Beach.
The program concludes with the Azure Closing Party at the P&O Hotel on 30 November with a host of DJ’s and other sound makers.
Most of the program’s events are free, with some ticketed events.
