The aim was to give a range of Western Australians the chance to experience life with an EV. We asked them to share their experiences and help us understand how we can support our members with their transition to a low or zero emissions vehicle.

Trial details

  • This trial started in December 2022 and concluded July 2023.
  • Participating members took home a Polestar 2 for one week and shared their experiences with us.
  • We partnered with Mojo Car Share, a Western Australian start-up which has provided our fleet of electric vehicles, to deliver this trial.
  • The results: We found that 96% of participants enjoyed the trial and that 74% changed their views on EVs for the better. While most members considered themselves to be EV advocates, some became less likely to consider purchasing one due to the lack of public charging infrastructure in WA.
