Can I change my name in myRAC?

It’s easy to change your title, middle name and last name in myRAC.

You can only update your first name online to correct the spelling or update a nickname. To change your first name to something different, please call us on 13 17 03.

To update your name:

  1. Log in to myRAC. If you don’t already have a myRAC account, select Register now.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Select Contact details.
  4. Go to the section for Name and select Edit.
  5. We’ll send a code to your mobile or landline to verify it’s you. Select Send code, then type in the code and select Verify.
  6. Update your name using your legal name written on your driver’s licence or passport.

This will update your name for your home, car, motorcycle, caravan, trailer, boat or pet insurance, Roadside Assistance, Membership and Rewards. To update your contact details for finance and for other policies, please call 13 17 03.

Can I change my contact details in myRAC?

You can update contact details such as your phone, email and mailing address online.

  1. Log in to myRAC. If you don’t already have a myRAC account, select Register now.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. Select Contact details.
  4. Go to the section on Contact details and select Edit.
  5. Enter your new email address.
  6. Then select Update contacts.

This will update your contact details for your home, car, motorcycle, caravan, trailer, boat or pet insurance, Roadside Assistance, Membership, Rewards and finance. To update contact details for other policies, please call 13 17 03.

What if I have moved house?

If you’ve moved house, this may affect your insurance. You need to update your address in each insurance policy that uses that address.

Select Manage for the relevant policy. Then select Manage your policy.

Can I change other insurance details in myRAC?

You can also update your registration, car usage, number of kilometres driven, bank details and much more online. If you have moved house, you must update the address in each of your RAC insurance policies related to that address.

  1. Log in to myRAC. If you don’t already have a myRAC account, select Register now.
  2. Find your policy.
  3. Select Manage. Then select Manage your policy.
