The Minister for Tourism, the Hon David Templeman MLA, joined RAC to officially unveil the new and improved RAC Esperance Holiday Park, where guests will experience modern facilities in one of WA’s most spectacular beachfront locations.

The Minister for Tourism visited the RAC park to mark the most significant upgrade in its almost 60-year history. The complete rebuild features a range of new accommodation options, as well as an oceanfront entertainment precinct with heated pool, games room, nature play, and BBQ area.

RAC Group Executive Tourism Tony Pickworth said the $12 million redevelopment had completely transformed the park and would give guests a range of ways to tailor their experience.

“For those who prefer self-contained accommodation, we have brand new two and three bedroom beachfront villas, two-bedroom cabins and one-bedroom studios,” Mr Pickworth said.

"Catering for the booming caravan and camping market, the park also includes 188 powered camping and campervan sites, eight ensuite sites and a new camp kitchen.”

In a first at RAC Parks and Resorts, guests can book one of two pet friendly cabins featuring a fully enclosed play area and dog ramp. The park’s caravan and camping area is also pet friendly, and guests will have access to a new dog washing station.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer a range of quality accommodation at multiple price points, giving more Western Australians the opportunity to stay in this unique location,” Mr Pickworth said.

“Building on the RAC Electric Highway, we’ve also installed a new electric vehicle charging station that allows Western Australians to recharge in more ways than one.

“Our aim is to make WA holidays simple and satisfying for our members and the wider community, and we’re proud to offer access to some of the most beautiful locations anywhere in the country.”
