The Shire of Carnarvon has commenced public consultation on RAC’s proposed redevelopment of the Ningaloo Reef Resort.
The redevelopment involves the demolition of the current resort, and a minor expansion to the overall property footprint, to make way for 90 new holiday units, along with a new pool and sunlounge area, restaurant, bar and alfresco dining, and function spaces.

Submissions close 7 November 2023.
Subject to approvals, works are planned to begin in early 2024 and are expected to take around 24 months to complete.
