- Get the details
It could be quicker quicker and easier if you have following information when making a claim:- Other drivers – name, contact details and insurance details.
- Witnesses – name and contact details, as well as any dash cam footage.
- Other vehicles – registration, make and model.
- If you need to get your motorcycle towed
If you have Comprehensive or Third party fire and theft, and the damage is such that you can’t use your motorcycle, we'll pay the reasonable cost of towing your motorcycle to an approved repairer or a safe location that we choose.
If you have Third party property damage and your motorcycle was damaged by an uninsured driver there are a few conditions that must be met for us to pay the reasonable cost of towing your motorcycle. Please see the Product Disclosure Statement for details.
If it’s not covered under your policy you get your vehicle towed but you’ll need to cover the cost. Call us on 13 17 03.
Get ready to claim

- Your policy number or rego.
- Incident details (when, where and what happened).
- Contact details of anyone involved, including witnesses.
- Rego numbers of any other vehicles involved.

Motorcycle insurance claims FAQs
If we decide to repair your motorcycle, we’ll obtain competitive quotes from our approved repairer network. You can also ask a repairer of your choice to provide a quote.
Whichever repairer we choose, we guarantee the quality of the workmanship and materials authorised by us for the life of your motorcycle, in addition to any other rights you may have.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
We‘ll declare your motorcycle a total loss when either:
- We decide that the damage to your motorcycle is such that it would not be safe or economical to repair.
- It was stolen and not recovered.
If your motorcycle is a total loss, we will either:
- Pay you the agreed value of your motorcycle. This can be found on your policy schedule.
- Replace your motorcycle, if you are entitled to this under our new motorcycle replacement cover (see the Product Disclosure Statement for more information).
