The fleet
Coral Expeditions' small ships and unique itineraries take you to some of the most beautiful and remote regions of Australia, the Asia Pacific, South Pacific and the Indian Ocean. On board you will discover a personalised style of cruising. With ships carrying only 72 to 120 guests, you can say goodbye to queues, long waits, and assigned seating. Instead, enjoy a relaxed, convivial atmosphere shared with like-minded explorers.
Without crowds to worry about, the chefs can prepare small-batch meals made with Australian ingredients. Where possible, they procure from local food markets. The shallow draft and high manoeuvrability of the purpose-designed expedition ships let you get closer on coastal adventures to explore the sheltered bays and hidden inlets inaccessible to larger ships.
Coral Geographer
Coral Geographer is the newest small ship to the fleet, designed to take you to destinations that are inaccessible to larger vessels. Carrying only 120 passengers, she offers an intimate expedition experience larger ships cannot replicate.

Day 1: Depart Fremantle
Toast to the adventure ahead with our signature sparkling sailaway sunset drinks. Enjoy Australia’s finest sparkling wine, canapés, and upbeat tunes. Meet your fellow guests or find a quiet spot on deck to take in the scenery. The journey begins here.
Day 2: Bussleton
Step ashore to explore Busselton’s heritage and vibrant arts scene at your own pace. Stroll the 1.8km Busselton Jetty or visit the Underwater Observatory. Wander Queen Street’s boutiques, or follow the Urban Art Trail or take in the natural surrounds at Wonnerup House and the Vasse-Wonnerup Wetlands.
Throughout the day, soak in coastal views, then gather for a Tasmanian small-plates dinner and an evening under the stars.
Day 3: Eagle Bay, Cape Naturaliste and Margaret River
Eagle Bay is known as being one of the oldest continually occupied human habitats anywhere on Earth, with archaeology dating back approximately 40,000 years. Today, take the shuttle to Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, the start point for a variety of walks and hikes, including the Whale Lookout Walk, Bunker Bay Loop and several sections of the Cape to Cape track. Our guided shuttle bus will connect you with the ship and trailheads for today’s walks, and we will provide a packed lunch for long walkers.
Day 4: Augusta
Arrive in Augusta, where the Southern and Indian Oceans converge. Our Xplorer tenders provide easy access to the local boat ramp, with a shuttle available to key highlights including Augusta township, Jewel Cave, Boranup Forest, Hamelin Bay, and Cape Leeuwin. Guests may explore at leisure or join a guided town walk along the Blackwood River, Jay’s Beach foreshore, or the Augusta History Trail.
Day 5: Two Peoples Bay
Unwind on pristine white-sand beaches or dip into turquoise waters for a swim, snorkel, or kayak. Take in sweeping views from the lookout, or stretch your legs on the coastal trail to Little Bay. Pause for lunch back on board or carry a picnic with you on a day trip to Two Peoples Bay.
Day 6: Albany - Overnight onboard
Rich in Indigenous heritage and layered with European settlement history dating back to 1826, Albany was once WA’s busiest international port and the departure point for the first ANZAC convoy in World War I. Surrounded by rugged coastline, cool-climate vineyards, and national parks, the city offers a blend of cultural, historical, and natural attractions.
Day 7: Albany
On the final morning, enjoy breakfast and final farewells with fellow passengers.
