RAC encourages West Australians to travel safely and is offering free tow safety sessions to prepare you for your next trip.
What to expect
This session is designed for caravan beginners or those wanting to freshen up on their towing skills. During these two hour sessions with a professional instructor, the following topics will be covered:
- How to safely reverse your caravan
- How to check your tyres
- Understanding vehicle weights
- Other useful tips
Plus, you'll get the chance to practice what you've learnt during a hands-on component where each participant will get the opportunity to reverse a caravan under the guidance of our instructors.
Advanced Tow Safe
Once you complete a Tow Safe workshop, you will be eligible to participate in our Tow Safe Advanced course.
This course is designed to enhance your knowledge and further explore topics to keep you and other road users safe. Facilitated by caravan experts at Driver Risk Management, each workshop runs for 4 hours, consisting of 1.5 hours of theory and 2.5 hours of practical training with your own caravan.
