Login help for myRAC
Here is some help for registering and logging in to myRAC
Registration
- Visit the myRAC login page and click ‘Register now’.
- Enter a valid email address, e.g. name@domain.com. This will be the email used to log in to myRAC in the future. You must use a unique email address. You cannot use an email address that has already been registered by another person.
- A verification code will be sent to the email address you provided. Please enter this code and proceed to the next step.
- You will be prompted to enter a few more details. Please complete these to finalise the sign-up process.
Your email must be in a valid email address format e.g. name@domain.com and it also must be unique, so you cannot use an email address that has already been registered by another person.
When logged into myRAC, you can change your registered email address with the below steps. Remember this is your email address for logging in only, if you would like to change the email address for your policies with RAC change the email address in the "My profile" tab of myRAC.
- Visit the "My Accounts" page and click on the email link at the "My login details" section
- You will be prompted to enter your new email address
- A verification email will be sent out. Enter the code provided in the email.
- After clicking "Verify code", a message will confirm that the change has been made.
- Next time you login, you will use your new email address
You can use the "Resend verification email" link to obtain a new verification email, you will find this on the "My Accounts" page.
Due to privacy and technical restrictions, an active valid email address is required to create an online account, as during the account set up (registration) process, we will send a verification email to the email address you supply so confirmation can be made by clicking the "Verify now" button.
Login
During the account set up (registration) process, we will send a verification email to the email address you supply which should be opened and the "Verify now" button clicked, as confirmation that you own the email address.
If you are an RAC Little Legends Club or RAC Road Ready member and are having trouble accessing the Online shop, please contact our Neat Ideas customer service team on (08) 6389 0055 and they can process your benefits over the phone 7 days a week between 8am and 5pm AWST. If you require further support, please email us at littlelegends@rac.com.au or roadready@rac.com.au.
Unfortunately, this is not possible. Due to privacy restrictions an online account can only be in a single individual's name. Any joint policies or accounts will be visible from both parties myRAC accounts.
Password
Passwords can be changed by the registered user using the email account they registered for RAC. To reset your password navigate to the login page of myRAC, click "Forgot my password" and follow the prompts.
When logged into myRAC you can change your password anytime.
- Visit the "My Accounts" page and click on the "Change password" button
- You will be prompted to enter your old password and a new password (which is entered twice as a confirmation).
- After clicking "Change password", a message will confirm that the change has been made.
- Next time you login, you will use your new password.
If you have forgotten your password and cannot log in see "I forgot my password?"
To increase security, there is a minimum criteria for online passwords. Your password must include:
- a minimum of 8 alpha numeric characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9)
- at least 1 uppercase and 1 lowercase character
- at least 1 numeric character
- at least 1 special character
- not contain 3 or more characters repeated one after another
- not contain Unicode characters
Online Shop
If your myRAC account email address is the same as your online shop account, simply log in using that email address. From June 30, your accounts will have been merged and you will be granted access to the online shop.
If your myRAC account email address is different from the one you used for the online shop, your myRAC email address will replace the previous email address.
You will need to create a myRAC account, which will grant you access to the online shop from June 30. Follow the registration process to set up your myRAC account and start enjoying the benefits. Visit the myRAC login page and click ‘register now’.
Great news! You don't need to do anything. From June 30, simply log in to myRAC and then click ‘Online shop’ on the right hand navigation menu and start browsing our range of products.
You will need to create a myRAC account, which will grant you access to the online shop from June 30. Follow the registration process to set up your myRAC account and start enjoying the benefits. Visit the myRAC login page and click ‘register now’.
Don't worry, digital orders like e-vouchers can now be accessed from your My Account within the online shop within 30 minutes once an order has been placed.
Simply log in, click 'My Account', click 'My Orders', click 'View Order' and then 'Download evouchers'.
