Login help for myRAC
Here is some help for registering and logging in to myRAC
Registration
- Go to the login page and select Register.
- Confirm your details. Please use the name you used when you joined RAC, whether it was your full name or nickname. Don’t include middle names or initials. We’ll use this information to find you in our system.
- Enter the verification code that we sent to your phone and select Verify.
- Enter a valid email address (e.g. name@domain.com). You'll use this to log in to myRAC in the future. You can't use an email address already registered by another person.
- Enter the verification code that we sent to your email and select Verify.
- Create a password and select Create your account.
Your myRAC account is individual to you. To create a myRAC account, you need a unique email address. If you share an email address with someone else and they’re already using it for myRAC, you won’t be able to register with that email address.
Anyone who has a policy or product with RAC can register. Policy co-owners can register too.
You can’t register for myRAC if you’re an organisation or business, or if you hold an authority to act for someone else (e.g. you’re an RAC authorised party or executor of a will, or you have a power of attorney).
If you’ve forgotten your password, you’ll need to reset it by following these steps:
- Go to the login page and select Having trouble logging in?
- Select Forgot password.
- Enter your login email address and select Send code to receive a verification code. We can only send a code to the email address you used to register for myRAC.
- Enter the verification code and select Verify.
- Create your new password and select Reset password.
To retrieve your login email address, please follow these steps:
- Go to the login page and select Having trouble logging in?
- Select Forgot login email.
- Confirm your details. Please use the name you used when you joined RAC, whether it was your full name or nickname. Don’t include middle names or initials. We’ll use this information to find you in our system.
- Enter the verification code that we sent to your phone and select Verify.
- We’ll show you a masked version of your current login email. Select Log in to myRAC to continue.
If you’ve forgotten your password, you’ll need to reset it by following these steps:
- Go to the login page and select Having trouble logging in?
- Select I’d like to re-register..
- Confirm your details. Please use the name you used when you joined RAC, whether it was your full name or nickname. Don’t include middle names or initials. We’ll use this information to find you in our system.
- Enter the verification code that we sent to your phone and select Verify.
- Then enter the login email you’d like to use and select Send code.
- You can then enter your new password and re-register.
Yes, you can. To update your login email address:
- Log in to myRAC
- Select Profile.
- Select Contact details.
- Go to the section on Login details and select Edit.
- Follow the instructions provided.
This is your email for logging in only. You may also wish to change your contact email.
You need a valid email address to create a myRAC account.
Verification
If you don’t receive a verification email within a few minutes, you should:
- Double-check that you entered the correct email address.
- Check your junk or spam folder.
- Make sure you’re able to receive emails (e.g. your inbox isn’t full).
If you’re requesting a verification email to reset your password, please double-check that you have a myRAC account. We can only send a code to the email address you used to register.
You can always ask for another verification code if needed.
This is probably because you’ve changed your number, and we only have your old one. Unfortunately, you can’t update your phone number online. You’ll need to call us on 13 17 03.
If you need a new verification code and you don’t have access to your old phone number, you’ll need to call us on 13 17 03.
You’ve tried too many times, and we need to reset the system. Wait 10 minutes and try again online or call us on 13 17 03.
We need to verify it’s you to ensure your information, including your personal and bank details, stays safe.
