MEDIA RELEASE

RAC Parks and Resorts has launched a new payment system for guests to pay off their holiday accommodation in instalments, making it easier to budget for a family holiday.

RAC Executive General Manager Brand & Tourism, Tony Pickworth, says the layby system is a first for Western Australia and is available across all five of RAC’s Parks and Resorts in Exmouth, Monkey Mia, Busselton, Coral Bay and Cervantes.

“At no extra charge, guests will now have the option of making pre-payments weekly, fortnightly or monthly for bookings starting at $200,” Mr Pickworth said.

“We are committed to making holidays more affordable to our members and the WA community, regardless of whether they choose to camp at an unpowered site,  stay in their caravan or book a stay in a self-contained villa.”

Mr Pickworth says helping members to see and enjoy our wonderful State is a key priority for RAC, and is part of it’s continued to commitment to invest in WA tourism.

“RAC has been part of the great WA road trip for more than 100 years, and we want to preserve it as a high-quality and accessible option for future generations,” Mr Pickworth said.

“Our plan is to provide a range of affordable, reliable quality accommodation options for our members, to encourage more Western Australians to holiday at home.

“This new layby system allows us to offer affordable and accessible holiday accommodation with an easy way to pay in instalments ahead of schedule so the cost of family holidays can be budgeted more easily.”

RAC’s holiday parks include RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park, RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort, RAC Busselton Holiday Park, Ningaloo Reef Resort and RAC Cervantes Holiday Park.

Bookings can be made online at racparksandresorts.com.au

Layby payments will be available as of 9 October 2017.
