The Fremantle Dockers and RAC are proud to announce the renewal of their long-standing partnership, reaffirming a shared commitment to making Western Australian roads safer and giving back to the community.

The three-year agreement will see RAC elevate to platinum partner of the Fremantle Dockers, as well as achieve a decade-long relationship with the Club built on trust, shared values and a passion for positive change by leveraging the power of sport to shift behaviours and save lives.

The need for action has never been greater. Last year Western Australia recorded its worst level of road deaths in a decade, with 188 lives lost and tragically this increase in road trauma has continued in 2025.

This renewed partnership with the Club is a testament to the deep alignment between RAC and Fremantle and their dedication to supporting the WA community.

Fremantle CEO Simon Garlick believes the partnership is about more than just road safety campaigns.

By working with RAC to improve the game day experience at every home game, members and fans will feel an even stronger sense of community both on and off the field.

“This partnership reflects the deep alignment between Fremantle and RAC when it comes to community impact and shared values,” said Garlick.

“Together, we’re not just promoting road safety, we’re building a culture of care, responsibility and pride across WA.”

RAC Group CEO Rob Slocombe said RAC and Fremantle are united in their vision to embed road safety as a ritual within the game, the Club and the broader community.

“We’re thrilled to continue and expand our partnership with the Fremantle Dockers, which will help us connect with passionate WA footy fans on road safety – something that has never been more important given the tragic rise in road deaths over recent years,” Slocombe said.

“Through this elevated partnership we will continue delivering a crucial message to thousands of supporters – that we all play a role in keeping people safe on our roads.”

The partnership will see expanded RAC branding across both AFL and AFLW coaching apparel from the 2026 seasons, representation on Club media backdrops, enhanced match day activations, and a strengthened focus on youth education and community programs, including dedicated support for Kimberley Connected in collaboration with the Purple Hands Foundation. Additionally, RAC and the Fremantle Dockers will be working closely with participants in and around the Peel region to further promote road safety and community engagement initiatives.

The two WA iconic brands will also deliver exclusive offers and activities for RAC members, raise awareness among young drivers, and launch new initiatives such as the Official Road Safety Partner content series and community footy clinics.
