Warranty
The services performed and new parts supplied by RAC are protected by a warranty for a period of six (6) months or 10,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first) from the date they are provided for private use vehicles or three (3) months or 5,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first) from the date they are provided for commercial use vehicles. You shall be responsible for any reasonably foreseeable expenses you incur in making a warranty claim.

Consumer Guarantees
The benefits given to you under this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have in relation to the services and parts to which this warranty relates.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:
- to cancel your service contract with us; and
- to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.
You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.
Warranty Claim ProcedureTo make a warranty claim, call RAC on 13 11 11 or write to RAC at 38 Collier Pass Joondalup 6027. Please note that a warranty claim will not be honoured unless proof of purchase (e.g. invoice) is provided.
