How do I update my banking details for my insurance policy?
Perhaps you’ve closed a banking account and you need to start payments from a new one. Or maybe you’d like to choose separate banking accounts for each insurance policy.
If you need to update your banking details for multiple policies, you’ll need to change them on each policy. So if you change your banking details for a home insurance policy, these details won’t automatically be updated on your car policy.
Step 1: Log in to myRAC
Log in to myRAC. If you don’t already have a myRAC account, select Register now.
Step 2: Select ‘Manage my policy’
Find your policy. Select Manage. Then select Manage your policy.
Step 3: Go to ‘Change my banking details’
Select the home policy you wish to update banking details for and select Change my banking details.
Step 4: Update the banking details for your policy
Select a bank account we already have on file or add a new bank account or credit card.
Important: This will only update your banking details for this policy. You may also need update your other policies with these new banking details.
