Frequently Asked Questions

We have made some changes to further improve the security and privacy of our member's data, and this has meant we have migrated our members' accounts to a new system.

If you haven't accessed myRAC since November 1, 2020 this means your account hasn't migrated across and you will need to go through a short one time only registration process. Once you re-register, all your existing policies and information will be there like before.

If you have logged in since November 1, 2020, check your details and try again or alternatively, reset your password by clicking on the ‘Forgot your password?’ link on the login page. 

You can register for myRAC by clicking on the ‘Register now’ link at the bottom of the login page. From there, simply follow the prompts to register your account and find your existing RAC products.

You may have received an email asking you to login to myRAC, before the 19th June 2021, to assist us in upgrading the way we manage myRAC accounts.

If you did log in before this date you can continue to login to myRAC using your usual details.

If you didn't manage to login before the 19th June 2021, no need to worry, you'll just need to go through a short one time only registration process by clicking on the ‘Register now’ link at the bottom of the login page. Once you re-register, all your existing policies and information will be there like before.

When logged into myRAC you can change your password anytime.

1. Visit the "My Accounts" page and click on the "Change password" button
2. You will be prompted to enter your old password and a new password (which is entered twice as a confirmation).
3. After clicking "Change password", a message will confirm that the change has been made.
4. Next time you login, you will use your new password.

If you have forgotten your password and cannot log in see "I forgot my password?"

When logged into myRAC, you can change your registered email address with the below steps. Remember this is your email address for logging in only, if you would like to change the email address for your policies with RAC change the email address in the "My profile" tab of myRAC.

1. Visit the "My Accounts" page and click on the email link at the "My login details" section
2. You will be prompted to enter your new email address
3. A verification email will be sent out. Enter the code provided in the email.
4. After clicking "Verify code", a message will confirm that the change has been made.
5. Next time you login, you will use your new email address
