This agreement outlines our service commitment to you, in respect of the Direct Debit Request (“DDR”) made to RACWA Holdings Pty Ltd (user ID 612003) signed by you. It sets out your rights, our commitment to you and your responsibilities to us together with where you should go for assistance.

  1. In terms of the DDR, we will periodically debit your nominated account for the agreed amount from time to time for fees for Monitoring Services (“Fees”) payable to RAC Security Services pursuant to the Agreement for Monitoring Services between you and RAC Security Services (WA) Pty Ltd (“AMS”).
  2. The payments under this Direct Debit Services Agreement will occur on each anniversary date since services commenced (the date Alarm Monitoring activated) depending on the chosen payment cycle (Monthly, Quarterly, Half Yearly or Annually).
  3. If the due date for payment falls on a non-business day or on a public holiday the drawing will be processed on the next business day.
  4. We will give you four (4) weeks notice in writing when changes to the Fees payable under the AMS are made. This notice will state the new amount, frequency, next drawing date or any other changes to the Fees.
  5. If you want to make any changes to the arrangements under this Direct Debit Service Agreement, please contact us in writing. This must be done at least seven (7) days prior to the next drawing. Changes to the arrangements do not affect your obligations under the AMS to pay the Fees to RAC Security Services.
  6. If you believe that a drawing has been initiated incorrectly, we encourage you to take the matter up directly with us. Should you not receive a satisfactory response to your dispute, contact your financial institution who will respond to you with an answer to your claim within the time frame specified in its customer charter of the Banking Code of Practice.
  7. It is your responsibility to ensure that:
    • the account you have nominated in the DDR can accept direct debits (your financial institution can confirm this);
    • you have sufficient cleared funds in the nominated account on the drawing date;
    • you advise us in writing if the nominated account is transferred or closed; and
    • you advise us in writing if you wish to cancel or alter your DDR.
  8. If your drawing is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, we will contact you within even (7) days to arrange an alternative method of payment. You may be charged a fee for each unpaid item.
  9. All personal customer information held by us will be kept confidential, except for information provided to our financial institution to initiate the drawing to your nominated account.
  10. Direct all inquiries to RAC Security Services. All communication addressed to us should include your client reference number.
  11. We reserve the right to revise the terms and conditions of this Direct Debit Service Agreement provided that any revision that is detrimental to you will be notified to you, and you will have the right to terminate the agreement without penalty.
  12. Reference to “we” “us” and “our” in this agreement means either or both of RAC Security Services and RACWA Holdings Pty Ltd.13.
