Day 1: 20 Jun 2025 Perth – Emma Gorge
Depart: Perth Virgin Australia VA1635 06.30am
Arrive: Kununurra 09.40am
On arrival into Kununurra, you will be transferred to El Questro Station and check into your accommodation at Emma Gorge where you will spend the following 2 nights. This afternoon you will be taken on a one hour Guided Nature Walk with a resident ranger who will introduce you to the unique flora and fauna located in this ancient part of the world, giving you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the picturesque landscape of the rocky, red Cockburn Ranges. Following the walk, you will return to the resort for a light afternoon tea followed by some free time to freshen up before dinner at the restaurant.

Day 2: 21 Jun 2025 El Questro Tour
Your full day tour today starts early as you transfer to The Station for your Injiid Marlabu experience. Join the Traditional Owners of El Questro, the Ngarinyin people, for the opportunity to immerse yourself in their culture. The experience commences with a Welcome to Country and includes sharing of culture, language, history and storytelling. You will witness ancient healing rituals, hear captivating tales which have been passed down through generations, and delve into El Questro’s rich history and ancestral heritage. This experience will leave you with a meaningful connection and deeper understanding of Country and its people. From here you will continue on to the thermal waters of Zebedee Springs, where you will be able to relax in these naturally heated waters. After enjoying a lunch of ‘beef or barra’ at El Questro restaurant, you’ll spend the afternoon on a leisurely Chamberlain Gorge Cruise complete with sparkling wine and fresh fruit. You will then return to your accommodation with some free time before dinner.

Day 3: 22 Jun 2025 Emma Gorge – Kununurra
This morning you will transfer to your accommodation in Kununurra where you will spend the evening. After checking in, you will be picked up around 11.30am and taken by coach through Durack country to Lake Argyle (70km). As you near Lake Argyle, you will take a short break at the historic Durack Homestead Museum. This Museum was constructed as a replica of the original family Homestead and uses the original Homestead stone. Re-boarding the coach, you will drive the short distance to Lake Argyle Resort before viewing the enormous Lake Argyle from a scenic look-out. Crossing the Ord Top Dam wall, you will see the Ord Hydro-Power Station before boarding your boat for a scenic 55km journey back to Kununurra. Marvel at the spectacular scenery, wildlife, flora and fauna found along the way, including the elusive freshwater crocodile! Enjoy afternoon tea at a riverside camp before heading back to Kununurra. Take in the colourful East Kimberley sunset before docking back at the Marina and re-boarding your coach for your accommodation drop-off at around 6pm.

Day 4: 23 Jun 2025 Kununurra – Perth
Following breakfast this morning at your hotel, you will have some free time to explore the town on your own.
Optional morning tour: Bungle Bungle Air Adventure $549 per person
An early departure this morning to board the fixed wing aircraft for an amazing two-hour air adventure to see the famous Bungle Bungle Range, Lake Argyle and the Ord River Irrigation Area. Be amazed by the patchwork of the Ord Irrigation Area, the mighty Ord River and Spillway Creek. View the Durack Family Homestead from above and the Ord River Hydro power station in action below the Lake Argyle Dam wall. You will also see the unbelievable vastness of Lake Argyle, Australia’s second largest freshwater man-made reservoir. Get your camera ready as the awe inspiring Bungle Bungle Range with its striped beehive domes rises 300m out of the desert to meet you. Spot the famous Cathedral Gorge and Piccaninny Gorge as you orbit above. Be fascinated by the Argyle Diamond Mine as you fly above the largest producer of pink and coloured diamonds in the world. Take in the views of Mirima National Park, home to the mini Bungle Bungles and the Northern Ord Irrigation Area as it disappears into the horizon. Tour runs from approx. 06.30am – 08.30am subject to availability. Early this afternoon you will transfer back to Kununurra Airport for your flight back to Perth.
