FAQs
Safety is one of core values. The RAC Go app is one of the ways we're encouraging safer behaviours - on the road and wherever you may go.
At RAC, we take your data, privacy and personal information very seriously. When you register for the app, we’ll ask you to provide consent for us to use your details.
We manage your personal information and the data you generate within the app according to our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
Good news – nearly anyone can use the app. You don’t have to be an RAC member. You don’t even have to be in Western Australia.
For more information see our Terms and Conditions.
RAC Go adapts the way it works to keep battery consumption down. The app is dormant in the background when your phone is stationary and ‘wakes up’ when you’re on the move.
If you’ve optimised the battery-saving on your phone, you may need to adjust your settings for the app to work properly.
No need to sign in and out of the app, but if you’re looking to completely opt out then delete the app.
